Football has a long history. The exciting and intense sport was invented on November 6, 1869. Football was like a well know sport called rugby but it was a little safer and had more options of how the game is played. Football started as a college level sport but years down the road is has developed to become a sport for all ages. American football has many different leagues such as the Junior football League(JFL), National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA), and National Football League(NFL). The hype around football keeps growing and more leagues, technology, and players keep coming as the sports keeps advancing.
